Can TCS HR ask for my offer letter from Accenture ?

I got around 1 month NP left. Now, TCS HR is reaching out to me for retention and asks me for my offer letter.

  • Is it okay to share from personal email to tcs hr email?
  • What info is really necessary?

I was thinking to just send them the 1st page of my offer letter. Which includes my compensation, location details.

You can share the first page with compensation and location details. Use personal email cautiously. Only share necessary info, like compensation and role. Protect your privacy.

Share only the compensation page, nothing else.

No point of sharing....trust me if you decided to leave just leave.....in case you decide take your resignation back also their will be no scope of future promotions in TCS because once you have resigned.

Are you planning to stay back? Then why did you resign? In my view, you should move on if you’ve got the hike you were looking for and the role. Also, I don’t feel you should share the offer letter; you never know how it may be used. Offer letters are highly confidential.

Just Reply I can tell you the numbers but cant share the offer letter due to confidentiality clause... simple. If you wanna match , match my numbers otherwise okay tata bye bye😂😂😂

Redact the company details, just show the compensation details only. Because as per TCS policy, their own offer letter is confidential. So asking other confidential documents if just unprofessional. So if you want to send, redact everything.

If you are interested in retention, please send HR the offer letter, else decline. Also keep me in the loop.
