Trending @Infosys; Can someone (prolly any ACON) explain what is going on with the appraisal?

I joined as ACON in May 22. Then next year the appraisals were only given to the people who joined before the cutoff date of 2021.

And this year I am learning from some people that appraisals will be linked to IJPs.

So i see that this is just a scheme to make fool of employees and just get out of giving appraisals (because we all know IJP are very arbitrary and inconsistent. They easily will say that we dont have opportunities now etc etc.)

So are we just getting conned by our own employer?

Can someone please explain the scenarios for appraisals correctly (I am hoping my understanding is incorrect)
