Can someone confirm if severance pay is given to those asked to resign in 2nd HR meeting?? If yes, how is it calculated?

In general, if you resign, I dont think you get severance pay. But if they ask you to leave/terminate, then you are eligible for one.

Hence, HRs smartly ask/force people to resign to avoid severance pay.
