Can sick leaves extend your notice period?
Guys three weeks are remaining for my notice period..Getting huge load due to toxic project so was thinking to take sick leave..but have heard it can extend your notice period if manager want to do it..is it true or not? bcz it's frustrating here even during last 3 weeks
sick leaves won't extend ur notice period bro. just take the leave if u need it. managers can't force u to extend notice period for genuine sick leave. stay strong and take care!
Just follow the policy. If it's more than 3 days, provide documents otherwise just inform and take leave. They can only escalate to HR by claiming that your leaves are affecting the hand-over of your responsibilities. But I think at this point of time they can't claim it, any hand-over should have been completed by now.
