Can my previous manager do something to sabotage my job

I just got release from the project cuz i am going for MBA, result is pending so i am not resigning right now, now my supervisor has changed to RMG, now i have to report to my RMG, result will take atleast 2 or 3 weeks, i am thinking if i didn't get the admission then I'll join some other projects. Does my previous manager still have the authority to sabotage my job in TCS.
