Can my manager will be able to change my unit, and if the unit is changed will i be able to get into those projects under that unit?

I am a salesforce dev with 2 years experience, the project is over and they have told me they will release me by june, now i am preparing for the certifications, requesting for the vouchers, the people said the Unit has to be changed then only i will be added to the salesforce practice group then vouchers will be provided. Now other Unit head has asked for my Unit change, will my manager will be able to change the Unit so that i can go to the other Unit and get into the salesforce projects in future ?
