Can I take LWP in this situation?? Please give your valuable suggestion
I am currently taking Chemo therapy and it will take around 2-3 months to complete... I am unallocated since last 40 days and didn't get any call for project. I am thinking to take LWP for atleast 2-3 months. I will join when I got completely recovered but I am scared if I take LWP and will be a part of layoff then? And one more query... should I claim from tcs medical insurance during LWP period?? Please suggest me what to do
Yes, definitely go to LWP, your health is the first priority for you and your company. If the company says otherwise, it's not worth it.
Just drop an email to your manager and HR from your phone, outlook, if possible attach the medical bill/diagnostic, this will ensure they can't layoff, or give excuses later.

Yes you can go for lwp.You can be safer on lwp. Your all expenses will be taken care by insurance policy on lwp also.
