Can I switch my career from embedded engineer to software engineer

As currently I am in tcs joined on feb 2025. TCS rmg is forcing me to take embedded role project but I am from core CS background so is there any chances i can shift from embedded to normal software engineering role

Do not accept projects forced at you. Have a discussion about your core skills and aspirations with RMG team. Start finding projects within TCS, without depending upon RMG. See the designation assigned to you on the offer letter.
