Trending @Cognizant; Can I resign today?

From morning thinking to go on notice period. I don't have any other job in hand. After seeing E letter my thoughts are, just take the risk, getting under paid for years is enough, If not now then when?

By start of sep it's 3 yrs in cognizant and career for me. Everyone is saying like without a job don't quit this job.

I hate to work here cause put my all efforts in 2023 for this sh*t called ratings and finally got 5. Just 4.5% for 5 rating 😭

Pls guys suggest me something. Is it really hard to get even 1 job in 90days?

If you have more than 4 years of exp and less than 10 years you may get the job , Also I consider your package is less now (may be below 20 LPA)

The market is down nowadays, but at the same time it is booming in startups, as you have 3 years of experience and that at Cognizant, you will get calls starting 2-3 weeks of active application.. Update your profile at naukari, linkedin and start applying actively 30-40 application daily, you will start getting calls before the end of this month, If you are okay with startup you may get better package and work to learn from.

  • It is better first you get an offer them resign, tell them 30-45 days notice also once you resign actively search for jobs till your joining, you may get better offer to somewhere else and then consider where to join.

You will never get any job when u r under pressure.. highly impossible to get a job in notice period. The market is very dull and there is lot of supply with very less demand

Depends on your skillset and yoe, current location. But yes ,1 fact is job market is not so good now a days.

1 more major factor is Notice period. If you can manage for early release , then it can add some value in getting calls

@MuffledCricketer bro if you are confident enough that you can land a job within 90 days absolutely go ahead..next thing is if you feel like you have enough to survive for few more months without your salary then it’s a +1. If either of the above condition doesn’t meet, then obviously frst get a job and then put paper. Based on your designation I guess you would look for Automation/manual testing jobs..rest everything on your knowledge and proficiency. But you are right it’s high time to be desperate to land a new job and get out of Cognizant.

Don’t take this emotional decision. Please apply in multiple company portal . And also get some referrals.
And then quit from here
