Can I renegotiate my Salary after working for 2 years.
Hi I have been working in TCS for the last 2 years as a Python-Cloud Developer. I have 5+ years of experience with a package of 6LPA. I have a good working knowledge of python scripting and Terraform, Kubernetes , APIs and monitoring tools like Zabbix and ThousandEye. My yearly hike is not that much. With the experience and technology knowledge I have, i think I deserve a better pay.
Is it possible to renegotiate the salary with the HR. If yes, how should I proceed.

You can ask, they wont say no. HR will say check with manager. Manager will say check with HR. Then they will say it is only possible through promotion so check with your manager.
Manager will say he will raise promotion next quarter. Then he will say i raised but it is pending with HR.
By this time you would have wasted 3 to 6 months.
If you need a significant salary raise , you need to start attending interviews

They will not do it, salary negotiation can only happen if you have 3+ YOE in tcs. They'll tell you that only way to increase salary is wings 1 and 2
I was in the same boat a few months back. I discussed this with my manager and he said it can be done during the appraisal cycle. Now I'm waiting for appraisal, let's see.
But looking at my colleagues experience, TCS will not give more than 8%. If this happens then I will resign.
