Trending @Accenture; Can I negotiate retention by editing offer letter
I got an offer from TCS for ₹9 LPA. My current CTC at Accenture is ₹7.26 LPA. I'm a critical resource in my current project – the client is asking for a production release soon, but the environments are not even set up yet. I'm the only one who knows the full process and tricks involved.
So I’m thinking of editing the TCS offer to ₹14 LPA and asking my manager to match it. If they don’t match, I’m ready to resign and join TCS.
Do you think this approach will work? Has anyone tried something similar? Would love to hear your suggestions.
