Trending @HCL; Can i get WFH due to health issue ( Fits )

Hii guys.. I am having issue epilepsy ( Fits ).... I am having this issue from past 7 years..... As now it is winter season and my helath condition is also getting worst.... Sooo i asked my HR to allow me to work from home 1 month back but my HR told you should come to office.... But i even sent me all the documnets of treatment even though he is not agreeing.... Being in different state for working it will be a risky to me.... Last month i got 2 attacks.... Dont know what to doo... Living alone with this health issue in other state feels very tough for me..... Guys can anyone pls suggest me... What to do??

One of employee in hcl facing serious illness and breathing issue. Yet they didn't give him the work from home. He has taken all the leaves he had. Now he is just on lwp

Convince your manager about wfh. I don’t think then it should be a problem for HR. Loop upper stakeholders while mailing

Talk to your RM first and then initiate approval requesting the same to L4 or higher. Health is very important, please take care.

Talk to manager first, if he empathises with you then he can fight on your behalf. But if that doesn't work, mail to upper management with all the evidence. Make sure email should be decent and not frustrating. It should be a request and not a complaint. Take help from chatgpt to write an email if required. Also assure them in email that once you feel healthy, you can follow 3 days a week. Do not highlight it to social media yet.
