Trending @Cognizant; Can I get a release from a project that allocated 2 weeks back.

I am in salesforce and I was allocated to a project 2 weeks back. Currently undergoing kt. Yesterday I got to know that there are opening for React developer in other project. I always hated Salesforce and wanted to switch to Frontend roles. Is there any way to get released from current project.

There is nothing like locked for 3 months for any project,because same happened with me and i got released within 1.5 month.was not happy woth team,work and manager.so had word with manager 2-3 times regarding release and started working less as had no interest in working there.in result,got release!

As per policy, you're locked to the project for 3 months.

If you have concerns about release, then you can speak to HR. Otherwise police can be violated with mutual agreement between resource and management.

Don't go on bench. Situation is bad. Just because you see an SO open doesn't means it is a genuine SO. If you fight for release, chances are your current manager will give negative feedback and you won't get allocated to any projects on bench
