Trending @Accenture; Can I expect promotion in Dec cycle ?

I got a market correction hike of around 14%in sept cycle but not the promotion, some of my colleagues are saying they will usually give promotions and a promotion hike of 13% in next cycle if we got our market correction done in current cycle. Is that true?
