Nothing is mandatory honestly.. it's all about numbers..if enough of your team members are joining office in a particular location, it's pretty easy to get off the hook without anyone even noticing..not making any noise helps, sometimes :)

It depends.. Me too working from home for more than 2 yrs. Went only for a few days to the office, that too was my wish.
