Bribing is never a good idea and can seriously backfire. Even in sectors where corruption exists, no one takes bribes directly — they reject or even reprimand people if approached openly. So in a professional IT job, do you really think a manager will risk their entire career for this? It’s not practical and puts both of you at risk.Instead, follow the proper process: speak with HR about the buyout option or request a mutual early release if you truly have no dependencies. Keeping it professional is the only safe and effective way to handle this situation

Not much sympathy for you brother. Should have thought about when giving incorrect information to prospective employer . But on the other side if you really did exceptionally well they will wait for another month. If yiu were juts marginally better they will go to the second best candidate . From that companies point of view if they start again it will Defintely take more than a month for another guy to join. So all depends on how much better you were compared to next candidate. Why blame manager now when you pretty much knew the rules. Dependency is not always work wise, there is always a client relationship to be managed people walking out of projects at short notices doesn’t really help that.
