Can anyone tell about Deloitte work culture
I heard lots of negative things regarding Deloitte is stressing employees for project deadline. Moving low performance employees to PIP,
The Big 4 right now are in a hire and fire mode of working. Its absolute crap.
A couple of my ex colleagues were/is there. They moved from TCS for better work life balance. But yeah they did highlight its not as bad as TCS but then again TCS and the project we all worked on set the level of toxicity too high for us that anything high seems normal.
But yes life there isnt golden. You are expected to deliver phenomenal returns. Salary is pathetic and so are the hikes. Especially EY, the HRs actually have the audacity to say they will pay you less than the offer you have currently in hand but you get to work in Big 4.
They are grabbing projects and trying to enter tech consulting hard. They want to maximise profits. Somewhere it does feel like the tech consulting wing is more like a Upsell. Work life balance is non existent especially during Busy season.
Alot of politics as well. Deadlines are tight. So anyone looking for work life balance my personal suggestion is avoid big 4 unless you going in for a Managerial role. There is a day and night diff between the two.
