I am at PA level in Cognizant and will complete my 30 months in April 2026, I am worried about my associate promotion as I will be getting released from my billable project after 3 months due to team size reduction..can you tell me will this affect my promotion and will Supervisor's headache to search a new project for me..

Yes this is true. Same thing happen with my friend as well. They will directly assign to new project.
