Why should Product Managers be paid huge amount, that too Assistant one? I understand their criticality, but unless they are working with premium MNCs, or small fast paced startup, or they are from premium Colleges, I don’t see why are they expected to be paid huge amount.
P.S.- I don’t consider PayTM a great company, so this package looks just fine. Never worked with PayTM though.

By the way Paytm is really a good company, the no of transaction it processes is really big that most of the tech startups in US startups or established companies can't think off

Looks low. Reason : To be an APM / PM you need to be a MBA graduate or have hands on experience as a Product Analyst/Product Manager.

For a PM from premium Institute, this is low. For a person with experience i.e it takes minimum 4-5 years to jump to this role internally with hands on experience, for which this salary is low.
