Can a manager get escalation if they are promoting us
Recently my manager mentioned me he will raise for promotion now today he mentioned he got escalated for doing so. Is it even real or they are just trying to fool me?

I guess there won't be any escalation for raising a promotion. They can easily not promote by saying they raised😂😂
Because I was told 1.5 yrs back that they nominated my name in each quarter and they shown proof as well but nothing received.

Pls note promotions are raised based on Corporate recommendations based on eligibility and your manager can raise if your name is there in eligible list and only during the window which will be communicated by HR... Normally no one would initiate outside the window
Making fool of you. promotion can be initiated easily getting promoted is tough.
There are too many managers in tcs with double faced, their talk and action differs
