Came into tax bracket recently

After joining ey i haven't declared any investment as I choose new tax regime and as per new one there's not much to show ....i connected with a CA for my ey salary tax was already getting deducted..but as i forgot to declare any investment my previous company salary which I left in July ....from apr to july it is coming under taxable income even if my previous salary was not coming under tax.bracket .now CA is saying I have to pay 32k for that previous salary of mine ....but another is saying it might not come and they might not send a notice ..what should I do
