This is what I do everyday. Wife works for a big bank in an exec role. She funnily calls me a “single parent”. She too chips in most of the times when free. But most daily routine of the kiddo is what I work around.
I don’t even know the reason to feel proud of such stuff though. As in, why be a parent if you can’t do it. Leave society and the norms, when someone praises me, I go “why”? Ain’t this expected? Why have a kid otherwise?
