I don't mean to generalize, but most marketing teams are jack-offs who think "How will any company get business without marketing yaaa.."
Followed by forwarding paid endorsements for awards and functions, which will be attended and awards received by the same marketing ppl.

I can't see one half decent marketing campaign these days. Zero new ideas, zero innovation. Maybe 2% have seen Mad Men.

I definitely agree, with AI helping, the real efforts and creative thinking is sidelined...company can well off go thru paid shit...but there's more to product marketing which I do, leaving gigs aside especially software build and tools
