C3B to C4Promotion cycle
I have completed 2 years in TCS. Last year no hike due to Anniversary appraisal and this year least single digit. When I had discussion with manager, he said he will intiate the promotion in upcoming cycle. I am not sure of the promotion cycles. Can someone provide the C3B to C4 promotion cycle details.
You joined only 2 years ago. Your manager will not promote you for at least 2 more years.
C4 is not an easy promotion.
Even though you are performance is good and critical resource?
Will give you an example.
My manager is a C4. He maintains 150+ associates in our portfolio. There are 4 other managers maintaining a similar number of people. They all report to a C5 DP guy.
Out of those 5 managers. there are 4 C4s. One C3B. He has been in that position for at least 4 5 years doing all the work, part of RFPs, maintaining profits for his portfolio. He never got a C4 promotion even thought he was already doing the work of delivery manager.
also C4 promotion needs additional approval.
Simply being a good performer wont get anyone a C4.
What will it take to get C4 promotion?
Promotion cycle is not yet announced yet. Also C3B to C4 promotion takes time.. Usually management doesn't approve and it's limited.
