C3A to C3B Promotion
I have heard from some people that there is not much benefit of getting promoted from c3a to c3b as c3b gets 40-50% max variable while c3a getting more than 80% variable ? What are your thoughts please clarify

True, very less variable pay, Earn leave encashment will also be stopped, salary hike also may not be applicable, putting one into more closure to Fluidity list, difficult to get project bcz of higher grade

I’m C3A and recently completed one year at TCS with 100% WFO index, but I got only 66% (approx) of QVA across the entire FY.
So, I don’t know who all are getting more than 80% variable?
