C2 to C3A promotion window open?
Anybody have any idea regarding whether the promotion nomination window is opened for C2 to C3A? I am currently having 9.75 years total exp. I am still in C2.
Joined tcs as a lateral - when I had 6.75 years of exp.- and they offered C2 grade. Till now, I have not yet got a promotion.
Not sure, if my manager is aware of my total years of experience! And my promotion is in due.! (Not being in bench, in the same project from the beginning when I joined tcs).
No appraisal no promotion no hikes, forget it at least this year

Exactly..coz if there is any window open for July they would have initiated it on June first week. But this time both HR and Managers don't have any information.
Tcs is already in loss this quarter as well. The general criteria for the promotion window is it will open only if the tcs perform well in that quarter but that is not happening and in future also it doesn't seems to be.
Further, clients are not interested in tcs, reason is peer companies are focused on their work and innovations but tcs is focused on torturing their employees which is indirectly affecting the company's effectiveness itself.
It is obvious that demotivated and tortured employees will not give their best which is getting reflected in the company performance now as ratio of project completion promised and actual completion is getting decreased.
Till c2 u get 100% variable. Don't go c3a, total take home may increase monthly but variable reduction makes it less overall.
Yes, I also heard from many.
But still, it will have a slight change right. No hike for us, thought like atleast a small change will be there with this promotion.
