C vs Java (Salary(
I’m a c developer. At times I see that many of my friends are getting paid 1.5 times of what I get paid. Is it a rare case or in general it is applicable? I’m passionate about computer science, in general. To be honest, I also want to get paid more. I don’t have problem in learning Java or Go and working in it. Is it a common finding that c developers are being paid less than other modern language developers(even having equal level of work life balance)?

Java anyday.
Wide exposure and demand

No. C Dev's are paid the highest in companies like Google and microsoft but that just means they are extremely smart and c is niche that's why. Not everyone can do systems programming because it's hard and you need 10+ yoe in it. People like those work in Google have never even talked to a girl in their lives I'm talking about those sort of people.
Java go has a bigger market any one can get a job hell if u give 1 year time to a college student he'll be a good java programmer.
