C++ or switch?
Hey everyone 👋! I'm a C++ developer with <1 year of experience. While I have a CS background and entry-level hands-on experience in Java Springboot, MERN, and Python, my current role has been exclusively within C++. It's interesting (or perhaps lucky/unlucky?) that I ended up in the electronics and communication domain.
I'm wondering if this could limit my options down the line, especially since I'm considering pursuing a Master's degree in CS in a couple of years.
Should I make a switch to a more CS releated tech stack now to potentially ease job hunting after my Master's, or is it better to stick around for now?
Would really appreciate your honest opinions and insights! 🙌
