C band.
What are the disadvantages of C band rather than low or no salary hike?
Means many people fear getting C band,why so ?
C Band means low hike
Wings exclusion
Low chance of promotion
Low chance of Onsite
Excuse to be thrashed around
Be that person who gets kicked around, etc
High target for stuff
But tbh none of the above exists as is. And it just puts you on risk of being the first one out.

Most of the people getting C band only in TCS. It’s normal hike process. Out of 5 lacs employee, tcs can give C band only. It’s not an easy job to give everyone B band or A band. Yes there also politics involved so we can’t decide our own. Whoever getting B or A band it not means like they are really good performing. And even getting C band also not means like didn’t perform upto the level. Based on manager and unit budget.
Main issue these days is termination. However, promotion, onsite, wings, and any incentive will be directly impacted.
