They are closest to action and have sales numbers access. Most of them are voluntary till now. The layoff at this layer may start by March

From some credible management sources

  • Tech layoff yes.
  • VP voluntarily exit not really, two reasons
  • all VPs have handsome ESOP deal that will make them damn rich if they ride this wave. Davos event (fox interview) expected to strengthen BYJUs brand is US. Sales are growing (slowly)
  • some VPs (legacy) were BDAs turned VPs due to boom. They might see additional responsibility or stress, might have to move out

Possible if ESOPs are already vested as BYJUS does not refresh ESOPS

Possible if VPs are not finding values in ESOPS as it would have been awarded to them for a high value like 14 Billion
