Byjus: Arjun Mohan is the new CEO

Asked around with my friends left in Byju’s and I can’t believe that this is true.

Byju Raveendran will possibly still retain his board seat thereby he is still in a position to exhibit intense influence on decisions. Yet, this is a marked departure.

My immediate hunch is that it is done to take heat off of the eponymous founder as this move allows him to execute with lesser public scrutiny.

Is Byju Raveendran out of the picture then? Or does he still hold some executive role?

So if not "Byju's" anymore, then "Whose"?

That would make it a bit more easier for them to sell off/raise funds

The great demise of edtech I think it’s tough to say they can salvage now by these vanity changes

I know many people at upGrad, he had joined upgrad as CEO and caused havoc on sales team . He likes micromanaging & was the person behind Byjus sales culture.
