Yeah, the situation is quite interesting. Despite the “Vocal for Local” push, Indian consumers are clearly prioritizing value for money over patriotism. BYD and other Chinese EV makers are aggressively pricing their products with premium features, while Indian brands like Tata and Mahindra are still playing catch-up in some areas like battery tech and software integration. They just add lights, if they could they would add LED all over the car.
