It was never sub 10 minutes honestly. Customer behaviour has changed and incumbents will most probably not take a big hit because of just this
It depends on how near your home is from dark stores
Oddly I have heard friends in certain places complain that it takes less than 8mins. They order in the morning go to take a dump and almost/ sometimes before they are done the order is on their doorstep.
I try to convince them that this is because probably that area’s main business area/ market is more closer to you than you think and you can also probably walk and buy stuff😒.
Most shameful was when I was staying at a friends place at starbucks and saw him ordering coffee from a store that was just 1.2 km away. I mean I later convinced him to walk and drink the coffee at the store and he was suprised how close the store was to his place😒. Bangalore is a big small distance delivery zone even though they have better walking spaces than ncr.

The decision is still kinda better coz while walking in bangalore I have seen sometimes small escooter/ ebike folks use the footpaths due to traffic and it makes it diffcult for folks who are walking. Almost got into an accident near a corner, the guy was coming from the other end of the corner and was driving on the footpath, he said sorry sorry a lot and I could sense that he was in a hurry so I didn’t said much just said that it was chill. The guy was more scared than me🥲.
Good decision
This is a good thing in my opinion. I've seen so many delivery drivers get into accidents , hurt themselves because of the time constraint by their reckless drivings.
Government is not wiling to provide employment but poking each and other sector. Why they wake up now ?
