Buying gold from Singapore
I am planning for a Singapore - Malaysia trip. I have heard that Gold is cheaper there. Has anyone actually tried buying gold from there and getting it here? Is it actually worth? Will this be blocked by customs? What is the limit without customs charges? Please advise. 🙏

Limit for Indians is 50,000 INR of goods from overseas. Anything above that’s is liable to attract customer duties as per Indian regulations.
Also with CD on gold slashes, I don’t think you would save significantly. Lastly, Dubai seems to be a better place for gold due to the purity.
And yes the best way is to probably wear it and come. Buy a simple gold chain and wear if you are coming by yourself.
