Buying a car from outside karnataka

Hi I am from Madhyapradesh (M P) and I am currently living in Karnataka (KA). If I buy a car in MP i will be able to save around 1.5 lakhs. I want to understand if it is a good idea to buy a car in your home town and bring it to Bangalore. I know the theoretical challenges like I need to take NOC from MP and pay road tax again in Karnataka and do the registration here. I want to understand if traffic policy really troubles you in Bangalore if you drive a car from a different state and what are the consequences?
