I'm am serving my notice period now and as I received auto generated mail my LWD is sep 30.
I have a offer that company gave doj as sep 29.
I talked with manager and HR to reduce my notice period using my 27 earned leaves including carryforward leaves of 2024 .
But I'm not getting any response manager is saying I'm not sure of process talk with HR. When asked HR she said due to project requirements Cannot give early release.
But there is no dependency on me and i was there in this current project just 6 months back.
Please someone suggest on this.
If I can do buy out paying my money itself if yes what is the process and how much per day basis is calculated.
It's just a matter of 2 days , request your current company and they will definitely reduce it. Keep pinging the HRs , manager has very little role to play in it.
HR only saying talk with your supervisor
They will not see or respond, see it's only 2 days you can politely request with your manager. He will send a confirmation email to the HR team and they will act on it. Or last if nothing happens, you inform your next company for 2 days extension and share your resignation acceptance email. They will for sure do it.
