Buy or rent house for life?

There is lot of talk about renting a house is better financial decision than buying actually. I personally don’t agree, but considering the exorbitant rate of house prices in Tier 1 cities and also the increasing rate of interest for home loan, maybe renting itself is not that bad choice. What is your choice?

Buying house as it’s provides security for life

Buying house even though it’s emotional decision and it’s a success metric

Will rent for sometime, but eventually buy my house for retirement

Will rent house forever

Will buy house only with full down payment, no home loan

No buying or renting, I will prefer to live in my parents or ancestral house
