Business analyst vs SAP

Hi, I'm thinking of transitioning from SAP consultant to business analyst. SAP has been a very hectic job, you have to work on tight schedules, oversee the developments, do the testing yourself and also handle the stakeholder and be responsible for technical as well as business side of your module.

I have heard so far that BA don't have so many responsibilities, they just gather client requirements and pass it to the technicals and the testing is also done by the QA team. You don't have to worry about technicalities. All you have to do is just understand the client business and document their requirements and set up project timelines. Is it true? Can someone give me a walkthrough of day to day work as a BA please?
