Build a better career in DE

Guys, I have been working in a data warehouse support role for the past two years. My manager is not willing to release me, so I am thinking of resigning. I am proficient in SQL, Python, and Snowflake. What other skills should I learn to enhance my chances of securing a development role, particularly in data engineering?

I appreciate your thoughts and feedback.
