Trending @Capgemini; BTO in notice period

I am serving notice period and 1.5 months remaining in exit. I am getting released from project in 15 days. Is it mandatory to go ofc for remaining 1 month notice period when on bench. Since Oct is festive month, wanted to go home for some time before joining new company. I haven't been home for a year now.

PS- currently working from client location and have BTO exemption till oct end but not sure if it will be updated upon release from project.
