It’s always worth giving a try, talk to you HR and staffing partner. Explain the situation. Understand the policies around your situation

Apply BOT exemption in system with all the documents. For BTO>14 days your people manager need to apply it for you.
System can let you apply only after 7 days from today's date. To apply from same date, again your people manager need to apply bto exemption In system.

Yes, they should understand. Organisation must have some policies for every possible situation. Better reach out to your N+1/HR. I believe they will consider your situation. Take care!

It's your right and your manager would support you. If you think they aren't understanding then reach out to your N+2 for approval and HRBP for next level approval.

Oh yes don't worry, you will aaram se get BTo exception upto 90 calendar days which means 3 month straight you can work from home. I think BTo exception can be taken once every year either for you or your family's issues mostly around health .

Bro apply for BTO Exemption through SuccessFactors if you're able to do work from home it will take up to 7 to 14 days for approval. And if you're not able to work even from home then contact HR for medical leaves

You should raise the bto exemption, hr might approve on the medical ground. Attach as much as documents that can be in favour to you. If possible ask your doctor to mention in the document for rest as much as possible
