Trending @Capgemini; BTO escalation during notice period

I have got an escalation from director for not coming to office during my notice period. They are saying strict action will be taken and notice might be affected.

Did anyone know what action might be taken?

Only thing they can do is apply unauthorised leaves on days u have not reported to office and deduct those from ur salary...they can't legally extend your notice period, so don't worry

I am about to do the same thing. Im okay if theyll deduct 12 days salary but not more than that.
