Broker ya party?

Better to deal with brokers or with landlords directly when searching for rental accommodation?

Bonus points for figuring out the title reference

As a landlord (or the daughter of one) always the landlord We don't deal with brokers. The brokers miscommunicate and make promises we can't deliver on! No, we can't get a bed box installed in the room, no there's no space for dedicated parking - just because the broker says "Mai karwa dunga" doesn't mean it can happen!

I like to talk to potential tenants myself and explain the situation clearly - what we can and can't offer so they make an informed decision later on

Landlord

I have had both experiences (in diff cities), and brokers just take the money and don't help. It is better to deal with someone whom you have to deal with anyway

Also, brokers in NCR are mafia/gangs Do not rub them off the wrong way, if anything is not acceptabe, write it over WhatsApp or wherever you speak with them

I rarely use brokers but in the few cases I did, they were decent and one-time transactions only (0.5-1 month's rent). I guess I was one of the lucky ones.
