Any idea about the perks and benefits offered at BP? I am considering accepting the offer for a Grade H position for Pune Location. Do they offer a night allowance if you work in the US Shift? Do they offer any share scheme? any other perk that I should consider or negotiate for while discussing with HR?
Just wanted to share a quick heads-up since you’ve got a similar offer from BP for the US shift.
A close friend of mine recently joined in the same grade and shift, and the experience hasn’t really lived up to expectations. The tasks being assigned are often unrealistic, with tight timelines and constant pressure. There’s barely any work-life balance, especially with late-night meetings and stretch hours becoming the norm.
If you’re already in a stable role, I’d honestly suggest taking the BP offer letter just as leverage and trying to negotiate a better package or role with your current organization. Unless you’re getting something significantly better in terms of role, pay, or long-term growth, it might not be worth the switch.
