In star plus Mahabharata, Krishna ji said one line - Humans decipher the meaning of words according to it's intelligence and the situations that person is in. For example:
When it rains, peacock dances whereas cuckoo cries.

The actual meaning of the words said by anyone is only deciphered by a wisdomous being. And that's why there is so much unethical practices in this world, since the actual meaning of someone's words is only understood by a few.
