BPS To IT Conversion

Hi

I am just curious to know what are the pros and cons of conversion from BPO to IT in terms of financial gains and appraisals and promotions .

Does the ctc gets revised to higher value and approximate how much percentage is the revision ?

Also is the appraisal percentage higher in IT than in BPS ?

I had declined my Conversion start of last year as it was zero rupee conversion which was offered and meant no monetary revision and the HR wasn't sure what would happen with my already nominated or in progress band promotion from BPO 3 to BPO 4 .

So accepting this conversion meant BPO 3 To equivalent grade which is C1 no revision or hike but it also meant immediate monetary loss of having to pay around per month for the bus pass which otherwise was free being in BPS grade and no guarantee of next level band promotions.

But now I got promoted to BPO 4 mod last year and again want to explore the conversion option if I get a chance so need clarity on perk of conversion and if
