BPS To CC Conversion
Hi All
I just wanted some insights into getting converted from BPO grade to CC Grades . I am a BPO 4 and have been working in ITSM for around 3 Years now .
I got an offer of on paper " zero rupee conversion " to convert to CC grades when I was BPO 3 To C1 grade , However I declined it as that time my band promotion was due for approval and HR wasn't sure if accepting the conversion would nullify it .
Now again I have been nominated for conversion from BPO 4 which I assume will mean conversion to C2 in my new project . However there is no clarity if it's going to be on paper " zero rupee conversion" or my CTC will be revised .
Can anyone tell me what are the pros & cons of conversion in terms of financial ( CTC, appraisal hikes% %) and growth prospects.
Especially if I am not from tech background but have been working in ITSM from last 3 years.
After conversion to IT you will be given 1 time increase of 1.5-2k in monthly salary for Bus and charged for Bus Pass there after which keeps on increasing every year.
Thanks for confirming this ... This was also one of the reasons I declined it last time as it would have meant additional expenses for bus transport it being a zero rupee conversion and also they couldn't give clarity on my band promotion which was pending
