BPO to IT
I joined in BPO account for non technical projects and later up skilled myself to technical domain. Now working in complete IT projects (Data Analytics area) for 6 years now. No one cares about converting from BPO to IT or about revising salary or about promotions as well. Although billed as Senior Developer rate to clients no monetary benefits for the employees. Seems TCS doesn’t care about the employees like me. Anyone travelling in the same ship? TCS management uses BPO manpower and assign them with technical projects with zero benefits to employees and maximum project to relevant accounts?

You can switch ....it's better...I am from BPO and worked for 8 years for IT project ....nothing changed...now after ML when I have joined in RMG they are suggesting me to take any project or to resign....better to switch
I am also working in IT and got converted to IT payroll but no increment on conversion.
You're not alone. TCS often overlooks internal transitions like yours. They maximize profits while keeping employee benefits minimal. It's a common issue, but unfortunately, that's the reality here.
