BPO TO IT CONVERSION

Hi, i passed out in 2022 i attended off campus interview in tcs after that only I came to know I was selected to bpo I got really mad I asked my HR I finished BCA degree why am I BPO. My HR released me from the project and I searched for an IT project and got opportunity to work on IT project currently iam working as a UNIX admin. My concern is they are not changing my designation iam still in process associate role. I asked my manager to change my role he said ' I need some automation ' reduce human efforts. And I did studied hard to make automation I have developed 3 project with python automated 70% of work. But unfortunately my manager went to USA and new manager came . I asked him too now he is saying there's now way for change you to IT cause there is a criteria you have to work here and have to get 3 promotion like he is saying I have to work for 10yrs to get converted. I was totally disappointed. Please someone guide me what I have to do next .
