How was the coffee? Does it taste well? I got one as a gift, was kept in some corner for 1 year covered in dust. I recently used it, and the whole coffee spluttered upon building the pressure, however the fault was mine that i didn’t fill it up complete with the coffee poweder

Well before this i would use french press and compared to french press the coffee in the moka pot feels smooth. I know that is such an odd description of a cup of coffee but i really didn't find the coffee any different from french press
